The NIU caravan made it's way out to Giovanni's in Rockford. Several coaches were in attendance including Rockford West grad and current football assistant Brian Anderson. Anderson has been an assistant under head coach Jerry Kill for the last 8 years. This evening I asked him what he thinks the outlook for NIU football is heading into the upcoming season.
"ANDERSON: We're looking forward to big things, getting Montell back and getting the opportunity to go to Tennessee and play down there in front of 109,000 and listening to all the people sing the fight song. It's going to be a great opportunity for us, and were looking forward to it."
