Robby Gordon was docked 100 points and his crew chief was suspended for six races as NASCAR cracked down on infractions at Daytona International Speedway last week.

Gordon's car was found to have an unapproved front bumper during opening day inspections for the Daytona 500. His loss of points dropped him from ninth in the standings to 40th in the Sprint Cup series. Crew chief Frank Kerr was fined $100,000 and won't be able to return to the track until the April 12th race at Phoenix

Dale Earnhardt Junior was docked 50 points in the Nationwide Series for having an illegal spoiler on his car and crew chief Chad Walter was fined $25,000 and suspended for the next six races.

In all, NASCAR penalized ten teams in three different series for various infractions.
