The Chicago Bulls have waived forward Viktor Khryapa and reached a settlement on the remainder of his contract.

The 6-foot-9 Khryapa appeared in 42 games and averaged 2.5 points per game during one-plus seasons with the Bulls.

He was picked by the New Jersey Nets in the first round of the 2004 draft and his rights were traded to Portland for Eddie Gill.

He was traded by the Trail Blazers to Chicago along with the rights to Tyrus Thomas for the rights to LaMarcus Aldridge in June 2006.
