Three Counties Receive Disaster Area Status
Three Stateline counties will get some much needed financial help cleaning up from last month's massive storms.

STATELINE (WIFR) -- Three Stateline counties will get some much needed financial help cleaning up from last month's massive storms.
Governor Quinn just declared Stephenson Jo Daviess and Carroll counties disaster areas. This means they're eligible for state money and possibly federal funding.
The declaration comes after severe flash floods caused widespread damage to homes, businesses and roadways.
Personnel from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency are in the process of gathering data to help determine the amount of assistance necessary.
