UPDATE: Power Outage Thursday Evening Update
4,500 ComEd Customers are still without power as of Thursday at 10:00 p.m.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- At one point today, there were 17 intersections with out power as well as over 17,000 residents left sitting in the dark.
That number has dramatically reduced to 4,500 tonight at 10:00 p.m. with about half from the City of Rockford.
ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The severe weather hitting the Stateline has knocked out the power to some ComEd customers.
ComEd Spokesperson Paul Calligan says around 5,000 people in Boone and Winnebago County are with out power around 5 p.m. today
Power should be restored by tomorrow. ComEd contracted in 28 extra crews to help restore service.
