A 3.8 magnitude earthquake wakes up the Stateline.
The U.S. Geological Survey says its epicenter is in Pingree Grove, Illinois which is about 45 miles East of Rockford. The 3.8 magnitude earthquake could be felt though as far away as Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.

shortly after 4am on 2/10, I awoke from a sensation of the couch shaking. Both mine and my upstairs neighbors dogs were going bonkers. I wasn't real sure what was going on and just went to bed. Attributed the shaking to a dream. After hearing of the quake yesterday on the news, maybe it was related? I lve in a garden level apartment in complex on a hill suposedly located at the highest point of golden valley, MN.
