A new online nursing program we first told you about a couple weeks ago has been approved for the stateline which means classes start this January.

The online initiative is a collaboration between Northern Illinois Community Colleges and local hospitals. Once students are accepted, their theory courses will be offered online but they'll still have to head into labs and hospitals for clinicals.

Anyone interested in the program must attend an information session.

Head to www.NIOIN.org for more information.
