Some local students won't need to get exercising in this weekend after a 24 hour run relay is completed.

Dozens of North Boone School students took on this challenge, run for 24 hours straight in teams to promote physical fitness.

Students were split into teams and ended up each running a mile about every two hours.

Me and my friends were all on the same team and our gym teacher said we were the best working team. Mrs. Glon really inspired me to start training for it because I couldn't do it last year because of vacationing

I was in the 24 hour run it was a blast it was also hard to do. i hope everyone had a great time
