If you have tried all of these, then the best Anywhere in 150 miles is The Smoke House Bar B Q. Located in Rockford on the corner of Il 2 and Harrison, behind the Shell Gas Station, You ain't see Ribs {PORK} this big, since the Jolly Green Giant stoped making BEANS. And Their Sauce, Corn Bread, etc is to Die for. Check this out. K.

Smokin' Coop is the only place I will go for ribs. 11-7 M-Sat from April to October. Great food from friendly people...what more do you want?

It is very sad that "Rockford's Best" seems to go to a chain more often than not!! We need to get behind our locally owned businesses!!
