1 12oz bag of semisweet chocolate chips
8-10oz mint flavored chocolate chips (substitute peanut butter, butterscotch, white chocolate flavors if desired)
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 8oz can of walnut (halves)
optional 8 inch circular cake pan (lightly greased)
1. Preheat a heavy pot on the stove over low heat. Add chips and milk and stir until the chips are melted and combined with the milk. DO NOT THROW MILK CAN AWAY!
2. Stir in the vanilla, then remove from the heat. If using walnuts, stir them in promptly at this time.
3. Cover the milk can with plastic wrap and place it in the middle of the greased cake pan. Gently spoon the fudge in the pan around the can. You may move the can back into the center if it drifts at all.
4Fudge will begin to set quickly. If using garnish, do so QUICKLY! Red and Green M&Ms can be used to give the appearance of holly!
5. Cover the pan, and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve, at least 60-90 minutes.
It’s super easy and fun! If I can do it, ANYONE can do it!
