EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Vikings are getting ready to face a familiar opponent without its most familiar face.
When the Vikings face the Packers in Green Bay tomorrow night, it will be the first time in 16 years that Brett Favre hasn't been the Packers quarterback. Favre went 11-4 against the Vikings at Lambeau Field, but now he's playing for the Jets.
That means it's Aaron Rodgers' turn to try and continue the Packers' domination of their division rivals.
Vikings safety Darren Sharper spent eight years playing with Favre in Green Bay. He says he wishes Favre was still under center, but he's still excited to get the season going under the Monday night lights.
Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
