Woman Stabbed Sunday Morning at Local Bar
A Rockford woman thought someone was playing a joke on her early Sunday morning when she was robbed outside a local bar.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Rockford woman thought someone was playing a joke on her early Sunday morning when she was robbed outside a local bar.
Police say a woman walked to her car in the parking lot at Oscar's Pub with a group of friends and the next thing she knew a man came up behind her and demanded her purse.
She thought someone was joking with her so she held on to her purse and ignored the man, but then he stabbed her in the back.
The man made off with her purse. The victim was taken to a local hospital for the stab wound, but has since been released.
Rockford Scanner reported the suspect drove away in a white Lexus.

It ain't about eastside westside northside or southside anymore bottom line is that Rockford's crime is and has been getting worse, we all need to come together as a community to fight off these thugs report everything we see

Well they are going to make West State street nicer so that these robbers and thieves have a nice scenic drive home to the West side after they come to the East side to rob and pillage.
