Posted: 05/20/2013 - Janesville’s high schools celebrated their continued tradition of excellence The Craig High School production of Little Shop of Horrors, the Parker High School production of Miss Saigon – The Student Edition and the School District of Janesville’s Summer School production of Grease were all nominated for Tommy awards. Fifty-six schools were considered for the awards, and there can be multiple recipients in each category. The awards show will be televised on PBS at a yet to be determined date. Posted: 05/20/2013 - Beginning Wednesday, May 29 and running through Wednesday, August 28, the Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) will feature “Hot Dog Wednesdays" and Ice Cold Slushies at donor centers in Rockford and Belvidere. RRVBC will provide hot dogs and all the fixin's to donors on Wednesdays. RRVBC will also feature ice-cold slushies each day throughout the summer.
