US selling Jesse Jackson Jr. Items at Auction

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The U.S. Marshals Service is selling items owned by former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. in an online auction.

Officials say the 13 items include a guitar signed by Michael Jackson and Eddie Van Halen, fur coats, capes and memorabilia from Michael Jackson and Bruce Lee.

Jesse Jackson Jr. pleaded guilty to illegally spending $750,000 in campaign funds on personal items. He was sentenced last month to 2 1/2 years in prison and ordered to repay the $750,000.

The items and auction can be seen at www.txauction.com . The auction will begin Tuesday and end Sept. 26.
