STEPHENSON COUNTY (WIFR) -- The changing temperatures may be more brutal for Sensata workers, who plan to sleep outside until Mitt Romney give them his time.
About 20 workers have set up a tent city dubbed "Bainport" across from the Sensata plant, which is shipping jobs to China by the end of the year. They plan to stay put until Presidential Candidate and Former Bain Capital CEO Mitt Romney intervenes. They've been trying hard to get his attention. They've collected 35,000 signatures and even sent some workers to the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
The Bainport Campsite is in the Stephenson County Fairgrounds. Workers are holding a barbecue Saturday at Noon. It's open to the public.
