It's been a merry-go-round of leaders in the republican primaries, and another change atop the polls is on the way with the newest allegations against Herman Cain, but not everyone is ready to believe the accusations.

Cain's favorability numbers among republican voters dropped* for the first time in the race...falling from 66 to 57 percent according the newest Reuters poll. Against his GOP opponents, Cain has fallen behind new leader Mitt Romney by one percentage point, 24 to 23.

Despite the new numbers, some voters still have questions as to whether the allegations are true. Leaving uncertainty among the stories from both Cain and his accusers.

"As to Mr. Cain and these various allegations, I don't put credence into them until I can see more facts. And even in the event that it's determined that these allegations have some merit, I think it's going to be up to the voters”, says Winnebago County Republican Chair, James Thompson.

Rockford Tea Party member Tracy Doyle says, "Why is this woman retaining an attorney, when she doesn't plan to file a lawsuit. This is what I don't understand. This sounds to me very much like a political ploy."

As for Cain’s campaign, the allegations are not causing any fundraising issues, having collected more than $1.6 million since the scandal first broke.
