BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- World leaders will be in Chicago in three weeks for the NATO Summit. And a Belvidere made product might be right there with them.
Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford stopped by Infrastructure Defense Technologies Wednesday.
The company uses sheet metal to make security systems or barriers to protect against terrorist attacks. Most of their products are used overseas. Especially by the military in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Company spokespeople say their barriers can also be used like sandbags in flooding situations. Except their product is reusable.
