WASHINGTON D.C. (CBS) -- A former campaign spokeswoman took the stand at John Edwards' corruption trial today.

Jennifer Palmieri told the jury that she saw Edwards' wife confront the finance chairman about money given to Rielle Hunter--Edwards' pregnant mistress.

The presidential candidate is accused of breaking campaign finance laws to hide the extramarital affair.
