ROCKFORD - (WIFR) Congressman Don Manzullo (R-Egan) is inviting northern Illinois residents to join him later this month for citizens meetings in Belvidere, Byron, Loves Park, Rockford and Roscoe to discuss a new agenda for America focused on strengthening our economy and putting Americans back to work.
“Too many Americans are still out of work and are frustrated they are not seeing action from Congress to help our economy recover and thrive again,” Manzullo said. “I encourage citizens to come out to Belvidere, Loves Park, Byron, Rockford and Roscoe and ‘speak out’ with their ideas on a new way forward for our country.”
The meetings, a continuation of Manzullo’s “America Speaking Out” tour across northern Illinois, will be held:
In Belvidere on Wednesday, Aug. 18 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Belivdere City Hall Council Chambers at 401 Whitney Boulevard.
In Loves Park on Monday, Aug 23 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the North Suburban Library at 6340 N. Second St.
In Roscoe on Monday, Aug. 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the North Suburban Library at 5562 Clayton circle.
In Rockford on Tuesday, Aug. 24 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Rockford Public Library's East Branch at 6685 E. State. St.
In Byron on Tuesday, Aug. 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Byron City Hall Community Room at 282 W. Second St.
