According to WCIA Governor Quinn used the state plane 71 times in the past six months. In October he flew 22 times. The cost to us more than $3,000 dollars. If he would have used a car getting about 17 miles per gallon He would have spent about $644 dollars a savings of nearly $2,500 dollars. Senate President John Cullerton used the plane 32 times in the past six months, but records show he reimbursed the state for the cost. Other notable people who've travelled as passengers, a researcher for the liquor commission and a lobbyist and a legal assistant for the attorney general.
