Obama Approval Rating In Wis. Holds Steady

Results of a poll by the University of Wisconsin Survey Center released Thursday show that 60 percent of respondents approve of the job Obama's doing. In the spring his approval rating was 63 percent.

Congress doesn't fare as well.

Fifty-one percent say they disapprove of the job it is doing but that's actually an improvement from a year ago when 74 percent disapproved.

The state Legislature does better than Congress, with 58 percent saying they approve of the job being done by lawmakers in Madison.

The random telephone poll of 507 people conducted between Oct. 29 and Nov. 20 has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
