Veteran state senator Terry Link has decided to seek the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois.Sen. Terry Link of Waukegan says he wants to see Illinois politicians doing more to help people instead of help themselves.
Link says he has a record of helping to cap property taxes, fight abuses by credit card companies, strengthen ethics laws and more. Link is 62 and has served in the state Senate for 12 years.
Other Democrats running for lieutenant governor include state Rep. Arthur Turner of Chicago.
