Voters are heading to the polls today to determine who will get the chance to replace former Congressman Rahm Emanuel.
Forty-four-year-old Ken Bellis cast his ballot at the Lakeview East Cooperative on Chicago's North Side where voters steadily trickled in and out this morning.
Bellis is a 12-year resident of the strongly Democratic district. He says he's supporting State Rep. Sara Feigenholtz of Chicago because of her support for gay rights and issues affecting people with disabilities.
Nearly two dozen candidates are on the ballot. They had just two months to campaign for today's primary and will have just another month before the April 7th special election.
