After claiming to never have inappropriate discussions with former governor Rod Blagojevich; Senator Roland Burris says he was contacted to make a hefty campaign donation.
Burris says the former governor's brother hit him up for ten-thousand dollars in campaign contributitions. He says Robert Blagojevich, ho led the Friends of Blagojevich campaign fund called Burris three times starting in early October. Burris says he did not make the donation. His sworn statement was just sent to the head of the Illinois house impeachment committee, after realizing his testimony was incomplete. Burris was appointed in december to fill Barack Obama's vacant senate seat.
