Locals Leave for Inauguration

In a little over 24 hours President-elect Barack Obama will officially be sworn into office. And millions of supporters are expected to be there including some from the stateline. 55 people are taking this bus to Washington DC. It's about 800 miles, and more than a 16 hour drive. They plan on arriving in DC around three this afternoon. Participants say along the way they'll watch a couple movies, enjoy some conversation and basically relax while they await tuesday's historic event.

"Its gonna be a lot of laughter, a lot of excitement, just a lot of excitement. This is such a historic monumental event, it's just great to see our country pull together for such a monumental occasion," said Ovester Armstrong Jr., Trip Organizer.
