Barack Obama's lead over John McCain is widening, according to the latest CBS, New York Times Poll and the biggest changes are coming from independent voters. Polls show Obama with a 14 point lead, and independent voters who were supporting John McCain in the same poll last week are now leaning toward Obama. Jennifer Valentine is a former Reagan voter, she's among the 21% who say their opinion of McCain is now worse than it was several weeks ago."Tell me more positive things about yourself. Don't tell me what's negative about the other guy," says Valentine. Despite the good news for Obama, more voters say that John McCain is better prepared to be president.
