Wisconsin Presidential Poll

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A new poll indicates that Wisconsin voters have no clear favorite in the presidential race.

The poll shows that Democrat Barack Obama would beat Republican John McCain 46 percent to 42 percent but Hillary Rodham Clinton would lose to McCain by the same margin.

Both victories are within the poll's 5 percentage point margin of error.

Obama and Clinton remain locked in a tight contest for the party's nomination.

The random telephone poll of 400 Wisconsin residents was conducted between March 25 and April 5.

It was sponsored by Wisconsin Public Radio and St. Norbert College.
