Former TV Anchor & Legislator Win Lt. Gov Nods

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A former television news anchor and a state Assembly leader have won their party nominations for lieutenant governor.

Rebecca Kleefisch of Oconomowoc is a former anchor for WISN-TV in Milwaukee who won a five-way GOP primary.

Assembly Majority Leader Tom Nelson of Kaukauna won a four-way Democratic primary.

Kleefisch will join gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker on the Republican ticket in November's election. Nelson will run with Democrat Tom Barrett.
