Obama Coming to Madison on September 28 for Rally

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The rally is one of four Obama plans in swing states leading up to the Nov. 2 election.

A location in Madison for the rally was not immediately announced. Obama filled the 17,000-seat Kohl Center on the University of Wisconsin campus a week before the presidential primary in 2008.

He returned to Madison as president last year to talk about education. Last year he also spoke in Green Bay about health care.

The president was just in Milwaukee on Monday for a Labor Day rally. He was also in Milwaukee last month at a fundraiser for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Barrett. And Obama hosted a town hall meeting in Racine a little over two months ago.

Perhaps our Illinois neighbor prefers a president who spends his time clearing brush in Texas...a task requiring our previous president to take more vacation time than any previous. Gobama is right! Time to stop the GOP crusade to wipe out the middle class. Hope the Fox News lemmings realize supporting the GOP means voting to eradicate the middle class...before it's too late.

Woohooo! GObama! Let us know where and when. Get off the haterade Illinois Viewer. Obama is exactly the president that I voted for! The GOP/tea baggers are full of bitterness and still haven't sat down and shut up long enough to come up with any policy ideas to help fix our national problems. HINT: they don't really care about you.

Ok, so all he wants to do is run around the country campaigning and taking vacations. Does he think that being President is a "phone it in" kind of job. That's exactly what he's doing. How about staying in Washington, have meetings with people who can solve the problems. But then, he only know how to campaign. It is so unpresidential to hear him bad mouth everyone, it's inexcusable for our President to act that way. He doesn't know how to do the job he wanted, which is President. 2 more years and he's done.
