President Obama Talks Economy in Ohio

CLEVELAND, OH (WIFR) -- President Obama was in Cleveland today, outlining his ideas to boost the economy including $50 Billion dollars to repair and rebuild the nation's roads and railways and new tax breaks for businesses.

He also announced his administration will not extend tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans after they expire at the end of the year. Those cuts "will" stay in place for other taxpayers.

"What we can't afford is another 700 billion in tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires and that's primarily who those tax cuts will go to." said White House Advisor David Axelrod.

Republicans are also talking about the economy. They say the president's policies mean a tax hike. House Minority Leader John Boehner wants to freeze "all" tax rates for two years and cut government spending.
