ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest is back. This year, RK Dixon has teamed up with its sister company Premier, a central Iowa office technology company, to invite non-profits in central and eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin to enter its 8th annual Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest.
The contest provides non-profit organizations in more than 115 counties across Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin the opportunity to win an office technology makeover valued at up to $15,000. The first runner-up will receive a multi-function printer valued at up to $10,000. The three remaining winners will receive a multi-function printer valued at up to $5,000. In addition, RK Dixon and Premier will award 10 runners-up with printers valued at up to $1,000 each.
“This is an exciting time for us because we’ve teamed up with Premier to bring the contest to the central Iowa region as well,” said Bryan Dixon, president and CEO of RK Dixon. “This is our 8th year for the contest and we have donated more than $296,000 to help non-profits better serve their communities. The contest has created positive change that has deeply inspired us and the thousands of people who participated.”
The makeover by Premier and RK Dixon – both leading provider of copiers, printers, IT services, managed print services and pure drinking water systems – may include, but is not limited to: a black and white copier, a color copier, a printer, multifunction systems, IT services and water purification units.
“We understand that it’s difficult for many non-profit organizations to find the money to purchase, install and manage office equipment,” said Dixon. “This is our way of acknowledging and thanking non-profits for the hard work they do in providing charitable services to our communities.”
Last year’s Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest awarded Reformers Unanimous in Rockford, Ill. a $15,000 office technology makeover.
This year, RK Dixon and Premier are inviting all 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in central and eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois and the southern tip of Wisconsin (for a detailed list of participating counties, visit http://www.rkdixon.com/mmnprb/Pages/Criteria.aspx) to enter the Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest at www.MMNPRB.com. Registration for the contest is now open and will close at 5 p.m. on Oct. 9. RK Dixon and Premier will then ask the public to go online and vote for the non-profit they think has the biggest need for an office makeover.
In the Rockford market, RK Dixon and Premier are partnering with 23 WIFR for this year’s Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest.
