Made in the Stateline: NASA's Curiosity Rover Celebrates One Year on Mars

UNDATED (WIFR) -- Roscoe's Forest City Gear helped NASA's mission to Mars become a reality. Now one year later the space rover Curiosity is still exploring.

The company made the rover's gears. In the last year Curiosity has driven more than a mile on the red planet, taken 37,000 pictures, and found rock samples that show water once existed on Mars. NASA plans to send another rover to mars in the next ten years.
