BELOIT - The Stateline World Trade Association (SLWTA) recognized Leading Edge Hydraulics as the recipient of its 2014 International Trade Award. Leading Edge Hydraulics is a Rockford, IL-based manufacturer and fabricator of hydraulic fluid conveyance systems for a variety of industries, including the off-highway & mobile hydraulics industries. The award was conferred on April 24th at the Beloit Ironworks Hotel in Beloit, WI.
Each April, the SLWTA brings together leaders in business, government and academia to recognize individual Stateline companies for their accomplishments in international trade and for measurable success in the expansion of the importing and/or exporting sides of their business. In announcing this year's honoree, SLWTA's president, Mike Delany, notes that "by recognizing businesses annually with our International Trade Award, the SLWTA strives to highlight examples of successful international strategies, in order that the Stateline business community may draw from them both inspiration and encouragement. Leading Edge Hydraulics is an excellent case-study of an area business exploring opportunities in markets outside the U.S. and thereby helping to create opportunities here at home for Stateline residents."
Russ Dennis will share the story of Leading Edge Hydraulics and advice for other small-businesses as the keynote presenter at the Go Global Trade Conference in Rockford, IL on May 7, 2014. Learn more about the event and register at www.goglobal-rockford.com.
