STATELINE (WIFR) -- The housing market continues to rebound in the Stateline. For the first time in 2013, the average price hit $110,000 in June, the highest it’s been in nearly a year. The Rockford Area Realtors Association Projects the values of our homes should continue to climb, because foreclosure cases filed in Winnebago, Boone and Ogle counties are at their lowest levels since 2009. However, June also saw higher mortgage rates. Local realtors say if that trend continues it might frighten away potential buyers.
