Local Housing Market Sees Dip in January

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – We’re starting to see the effects of the extreme cold in the local housing market.

The number of homes sold is down over 6% from a year ago. The average price of homes fell 4% in January to over 95,000.

Rockford area realtors say the weather kept potential home buyers from looking at properties.
