ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Bryden Motors has deep roots in the Stateline. It first opened in 1945 and on Thursday the dealership celebrated a major milestone.
Roger Bryden has been working in the auto industry for 50 Years. He first got this start along side his father Bill back in 1963.
Over the past five decades Bryden has seen the dealership on Broad Street in Beloit grow from a two car showroom to a 13 car facility.
He says over the years cars have changed a lot. They now a lot of bells an whistles and are more fuel efficient, but the major change is the way the cars are delivered.
"They came covered up and you'd follow the trucks and sometimes people would follow the trucks right into the dealership just to see what they looked like and to see what the options were," Bryden said.
Even after 50 years Bryden says he doesn't plan on going anywhere, anytime soon.
