ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- According to a ranking by RootMetrics, AT&T came out on top with first-place, or tied-for-first-place rankings, in 93 of the 125 cities that RootMetrics studied in 2013.
First-place rankings are for overall combination of call, text and data performance. Here’s how each carrier finished:
• AT&T – 93 cities (first-place and tied-for-first rankings)
• Verizon – 68 cities (first-place and tied-for-first rankings)
• T-Mobile – 5 cities (tied-for-first-place rankings)*
• Sprint – 0
In October 2013, Seattle-based RootMetrics® ranked AT&T highest for combined/overall voice, data and text network performance in Chicago.
