Rock Valley College Expansion

Rock Valley College leaders celebrated the groundbreaking Thursday morning for the Karl Jacobs Center for Science and Math. The building will be more than 100,000 square feet. It will house science labs, classrooms, offices and student life space. School leaders hope this building will motivate students to raise the bar.

The community needs to focus on Science and Math and with this building will be state of the art science labs technology and instruction.” Said Rock Valley President Jack Becherer.

The building is expected to be open for the 2011 fall semester. It's named after Dr. Karl Jacobs a past president of Rock Valley College.
