Rescue Mission In Need of Help

“It was one of those breath taking moments where we say oh my God! We’re starting to have these hard time hit us.” said Randa Noble from the Rockford Rescue Mission.

Right now the shelter is almost completely out of canned vegetables and needs our help to stock their pantry. Mission Director, Randa Noble says the organization has seen a 14% increase in guests over the last year and a major decrease in donations. Volunteers currently serve more than three thousand meals a week; tonight they barely have enough vegetables for dinner.

If you would like to donate, you can drop off canned goods at the Mission, it’s located across from the Winnebago County Justice Center.

Hey! People eat, hopefully more than once a day and the Rescue Mission feeds a lot of people. How long do you think that food would last? Get a reality check.
