Jon Krause says selling your home yourself, is not easy. He says sticking a ‘for sale’ sign in your front yard usually won’t seal the deal. Most ‘by owners’ think they’re saving on realtor commissions and other fees, but Krause says, those fees are only saved if you’re successful at selling your home. Krause adds, going the do-it-yourself route limits your exposure, while listing it professionally opens the door to a much larger audience.
