Lorayne Logan says with so many local residents out of work. She’s surprised more people aren’t trying to re-enter the workforce. Logan says many may be discouraged by the limited number of jobs available, but companies are hiring. She says you should go out and seek potential opportunities, or consider taking a part time job. Believe it or not, a part time job is a great way to put your skills to good use while looking for a full time position.
“We still see accounting based jobs at the way they were. There is still some office administrative work. I will say, what I see less of is hourly manufacturing positions; this is where there is the most stagnation.”
