Wal-Mart Donates $25,000 to Sharefest

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- $25,000 will be donated to Sharefest to support its schools project for this year.

The donation will provide resources for Sharefest volunteers to retrofit, paint and improve existing schools in Rockford.

A formal check presentation will be held on Tuesday, September 28 at 1:30 p.m.

    I hope Heartland chruch use it for Sharefest not for their Budgetfor the chruch

    They're probably just going to use it as a 'write-off' since they are just making themselves 'look good' because they know they did WRONG in firing all of their disabled workers that probably now have thousands of lawsuits against themselves. I wouldn't shop at Walmart if they were the last store on the planet. The communist store.

    Let's hope the $25 grand does NOT end up in the budget of district 205. Money to 205 has a way of "disappearing". Entire staff from LaVonne to custodial should be dumped and start over. Amen.
