FREEPORT (WIFR) -- A long time labor battle in Freeport isn't over. But the union is claiming partial victory.
The United Steelworkers Union represents workers at Titan Tire. Union leaders say an administrative law judge wants the company to re-instate an old work contract with back pay. It's up to the National Labor Relations Board to decide. The CEO of Titan Tire Maurice Taylor says he's not concerned and calls the process a "Kangaroo Court." He says there are many steps left to overturn the recommendation. The current two-year contract ends November 15th. That affects 700 Freeport workers.
