ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- There are hundreds of at-risk kids in the Rockford community, and Sunday, a local organization reached out to the community to help those children.
Rock House Kids held a fundraiser at the Tebala Shrine. The group does not receive any funding from the state or government. It's funded completely through donations and has more than 65 volunteers. Our very own Aaron Wilson emceed the event that included beats and treats. Rock House Kids has been around for 13 years helping at-risk and homeless children.
Rock House Kids is located at 1325 7th street. It is open four days a week to kids ages four to 18. For more information call 815-962-5067 or 815-962-5651.
