Arson Investigation

Fire investigators are looking into two overnight garage fires they believe are the result of arson.

Prehaps the scariest one happened on Woodruff avenue. Investigators responded to an unattached garage and 3 vehicles in flames. It took firefighters 2 hours to fight the blaze. T

his comes just an hour after spraying hoses at another fire just seconds away on 16th street. It happened at another unattached garage in the parking lot of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Damage is estimated at six thousand dollars.

but that was just the beginning...investigators are also calling this one suspicous.

It started here at the Goodwill store on Kishwaukee street. The four unit apartment building caught fire around 11pm. Investigators found a small pice of rubble burning on the first floor. No damage was done to the structure.

Another house fire happened at 414 Martin Road... damages are estimated at around 40 thousand dollars.
