See Your Soldier

PFC Matthew Quast is stationed with the 1st Airborne Calvary at Camp Taji in Iraq. With the help of a program called FreedomCalls, Matt and his family caught up via video confrence from right here in Rockford. But Freedom Calls receives no federal funding. If monetary donations don't pick up, soldiers and their families will lose the chance to see eachother face to face. His mother Kathy says the experience is priceless.

"There's just nothing like seeing him moving around and talking. It's so much different than the phone or the internet. Because there he is, in his uniform and smile and it's just great!"

Tio find out how to set up and apply for your own Freedom Call or donate to the program, check out the links below.

I would love to see the war over because i know how it feels to have family over there fighting. I have a causin fighting for are freedom. Thank you
