ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Remember the shows you watched back in the days when you could only watch TV with an antenna? Shows like, Leave it to Beaver, Dennis the Menace and The Monkees? How about Gidget, The Flying Nun or The Burns and Allen Show? These shows and many more classics are now playing on Rockford Television!

23 WIFR Rockford is proud to be a partner with Antenna TV bringing you a programming schedule packed with classic TV shows and movies 24/7. “The feedback has been very positive. Antenna TV is bringing back good memories for some and starting new ones with the younger demos, whose parents and grand parents watched these shows when they were younger. Its variety of programming is entertaining for the whole family,” said 23 WIFR Vice President and General Manager Greg Graber.

Don’t let the name Antenna TV confuse you though. Viewers don’t “only” receive the channel with an antenna. They can watch 23.2 on Comcast channel 436 in the Rockford area, 247 on Comcast in Rochelle and channel 101 on Mediacom Cable Systems. Charter Communications airs the channel on 970 on its Illinois systems.
