ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford Health System is growing its pediatric gastroenterology department. Three additional physicians will now practice alongside David Deutsch, M.D. at Rockford Health Physicians in Rockford.
Glendon Burress, M.D., is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology. His areas of special interest include feeding problems, gastroesophageal reflux, inflammatory bowel disease and eosinophilic esophagitis. He completed his fellowship and residency at the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital and earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois.
Katrina Nguyen, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. She completed her fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. and
her residency at the University of Missouri – Columbia, Columbia, Mo. She earned her medical degree at American University of the Caribbean, School of Medicine, Cupecoy, St. Maarten.
Eugene Vortia, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. He completed his fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio and his residency at Michigan State
University, Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies, Kalamazoo, Mich. He received his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School in Accra, Ghana.
