ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- It's been nine weeks since five local women started their mission to look and feel better.. and now they're learning they don't have to sacrifice taste for results.
It's all apart of Rockford Memorial Hospital's "Better U" Challenge. The 12 week plan is apart of the health system's mission to combat heart disease. The leading cause of death in women nationwide, killing more people than breast cancer. Wednesday night the group is learned what to put on the dinner table. Healthy options such as wheat pita chips, fish, and lots of veggies.
The challenge ends February 12.
