WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- The trucks that clean up our roads in the winter may soon be powered by natural gas instead of diesel fuel. A private company that sells compressed natural gas wants the Winnebago County Board to start buying the fuel for special snowplows. The company says that this type of fuel is cheaper than diesel. The county doesn't own plows that run on this type of fuel yet but is considering leasing a few.
